Terms of Service
The agreement between you and us. Plain language, no traps — but it is a real contract, so it is worth reading.

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using YourWorksheets, you agree to these terms. If you are using the service on behalf of a school or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. Who may use it
You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract. The service is designed for teachers and other educators. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
3. Your content stays yours
You own the worksheets you create. We claim no ownership over them. You grant us only the limited licence needed to run the service — to store your work, display it back to you, generate PDFs, and, if you choose to publish it, show it to other users in the Worksheets library. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies others already downloaded and any backups that expire on their normal cycle.
Publishing to the library
Publishing is always your explicit choice. When you publish a worksheet it becomes publicly readable and other educators may download and use it in their classrooms. You can unpublish or delete it at any time, but you cannot recall copies that have already been downloaded.
What you promise about your content
- You have the right to use and publish everything you upload, including any images.
- It does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- It contains no personal information about students or other children.
- It is not unlawful, hateful, harassing, deceptive, or otherwise inappropriate for a classroom.
4. AI-generated content
AI Studio drafts worksheets from the instructions you give it. Two things follow from how this technology works, and both matter:
- Always review before you teach from it. AI output can be factually wrong, pitched at the wrong level, or subtly off-topic while looking perfectly plausible. You are the teacher; the generated sheet is a draft for you to check, not a finished authority.
- Output is not unique to you. Similar prompts can produce similar results for other users, so we cannot promise generated material is original or that it can be exclusively yours.
Subject to those realities, you may use the worksheets you generate for your own teaching, including in a fee-charging classroom.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the law, or use the service to harm, harass, or deceive anyone.
- Attempt to breach our security, access other users’ accounts or data, or probe our systems without written permission.
- Scrape the service, or use automated tools to place load on it beyond normal human use.
- Work around quotas, rate limits, or any other technical restriction.
- Resell or redistribute the service itself, as opposed to the worksheets you make with it.
6. Fair use and quotas
AI generation is subject to per-account quotas so the service stays fast and affordable for everyone. We may adjust these limits, and we will not do so in a way designed to catch you out. If generation fails after your quota was spent, we return it.
7. Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your work.
Keep your own copies of anything you rely on. Export important worksheets to PDF. This is sensible practice with any online service, ours included.
8. Our intellectual property
The service itself — the software, the design system, the fox, the YourWorksheets name, and the ready-made template library — belongs to us. You may use the templates to create worksheets. You may not extract the template designs to build a competing product.
Worksheets carry a YourWorksheets watermark. You agree not to remove, obscure, or alter it.
9. Ending the agreement
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law. Where circumstances allow, we will warn you first and give you a chance to put things right.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or lost data. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months, or fifty US dollars.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights your local law gives you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we will give notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
12. Contact
Questions about these terms go through the help center, and we will answer them.
