What we collect, why we collect it, and the control you keep over it. Written to be read, not skimmed past.

The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run an account and let you design, store, and publish worksheets. We do not sell your personal data, we do not sell your worksheets, and we do not use advertising trackers. Children do not have accounts on this service.
Who we are
YourWorksheets (“we”, “us”) operates yourworksheets.com. For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described below, contact us through the help center. We aim to respond within 30 days.
What we collect
Account information
When you create an account we store your email address, and your display name if you provide one. If you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, name, and profile image from Google — we never receive your Google password. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication; we do not store passwords ourselves.
Content you create
Worksheets you design, templates you customise, files you upload, and the titles, descriptions, and prices you attach to them. This content is private to your account unless you explicitly publish it to the Worksheets library, at which point it becomes publicly readable.
AI generation prompts
When you use AI Studio, the subject, grade, language, and instructions you enter are sent to our AI provider to generate the worksheet. Do not put personal information about students, colleagues, or yourself into these prompts — they are not the place for it, and you cannot recall them once submitted.
Technical and usage data
We record generation counts against your account to enforce fair-use quotas, and we collect anonymous performance measurements (page load and responsiveness timings) through Vercel Speed Insights. Our hosting and security providers process your IP address to serve requests and to block abuse. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Who we share it with
We share data only with the providers needed to operate the service, and only for that purpose. Each acts as our processor under contract:
- Google Firebase — authentication, database, and file storage.
- Vercel — hosting, content delivery, and anonymous performance measurement.
- Our AI provider — receives the generation prompts you submit in AI Studio, to produce worksheet content.
- Upstash — rate-limiting counters that stop the service being overwhelmed.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers. We may disclose information where we are legally required to, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
International transfers
Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Those transfers rely on the safeguards our providers maintain, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account data — until you delete your account.
- Worksheets and uploads — until you delete them, or you delete your account.
- Published worksheets — removed from the public library when you unpublish or delete them.
- Quota and abuse counters — short-lived, and expire automatically.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, export it, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent. You can edit or delete your worksheets at any time from the teacher console. For anything else — including full account deletion — contact us through the help center.
If you are in the UK or EU and believe we have mishandled your data, you may complain to your local data protection authority. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.
Children
This service is for educators and other adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 16. Worksheets you produce are for your own classroom use; students do not sign in and we collect nothing from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you more directly than that.
