Accessibility Statement
How accessible YourWorksheets is, what we know does not work well yet, and how to tell us about a barrier.
Version 1.0 · In force from 13 October 2026 · Last updated 13 October 2026
Our aim
We want teachers, parents and children to be able to use YourWorksheets whatever their abilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
Where we are
YourWorksheets partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 AA. This assessment is our own; no independent audit has been carried out yet.
What we do:
- keyboard access and visible focus on pages and dialogs, with focus kept inside open dialogs;
- text alternatives for meaningful images, labelled form fields, and errors announced to screen readers;
- respect for “reduce motion” settings;
- the site in nine languages, including Arabic laid out right to left;
- large touch targets on children’s pages.
Known limitations
- The A4 designer is a visual, drag-and-drop tool. Placing and resizing elements needs a pointer; keyboard and screen-reader support there is limited.
- Worksheets themselves are designed by their authors; their contrast, reading order and alternative text depend on how they were made.
- Printed and PDF worksheets are made for paper and are not tagged for screen readers.
Tell us about a barrier
Write to privacy@yourworksheets.com or use the help center. Tell us the page and what went wrong. We aim to reply within five working days and, where we cannot fix something quickly, to find another way to get you what you need.
